Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion Movie Review : Why Shouldn’t You Miss Watching It
After watching Baahubali – The Beginning, so many jokes, memes, theories and so called ‘leaked stories’ about why Katappa killed Baahubali, had been rounding on Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp. Riding on the hype of ‘Why Katappa Killed Baahubali’, the makers of Baahubali had inscribed #WKBB on it’s first look poster.
Painstakingly made, paying acute attention to detail for the minutest of sound and visuals, SS Rajamouli (Eega, Magadheera) has made Baahubali 2 even more grand than its prequel. Though this swashbuckling adventure relies heavily on CGI and VFX, it doesn’t lack emotional resonance. It manages to be much more than a blood-soaked romp. The heart of the film lies in the simple thought that good is mightier than evil.
Story of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion: The film continues seamlessly from just where it ended in the prequel. The story picks up from where Kattappa ended in Baahubali: The Beginning and begins with Baahubali entering to tame an elephant. However, it portrays the back stories of Sivagami and Devasena in brief. The story traces the origins of Baahubali’s father, who was originally meant to be the King of Mahishmati.
The imaginary kingdom of Mahishmati now comes across as richer and more fantastic. While story progresses Baahubali meets his future wife, splendid views of a moonlit war that takes place there, eagles carrying messages and some palatial ships that can fly.
In prequel the dialogue “Kya Hai Mrityu” took viewers by the storms of thrill and in Baahubali 2, there is an anthem for Mahishmati to serve the hair-raiser amusement. If it was Kailash Kher who wowed you with his inspiring voice in the first part, then watch out for Daler Mehndi’s high-on-energy number in this one. It also delves on the love-story between Amarendra and Devasena (Anushka Shetty), who is mother of Mahendra Baahubali. The plot is strong that carries the triumph of good over evil with some conspiracy theories added.
